Are you a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)?
Yes! I’m a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) licensed in British Columbia. Receipts are provided for insurance reimbursement.
What do you bring?
I bring everything you need for your treatment, including a professional massage table, clean linens, lotion, music, essential oils, a heated table pad, cushions, and treatment tools. All you need to provide is enough space for the table and a cozy spot to relax!
Can I claim my massage through insurance?
Yes! Receipts are provided for extended health benefits if you have RMT coverage through your plan.
Do I need to prepare anything before my massage?
Not much! Just clear a space large enough for the massage table and have a quiet, comfortable spot ready. I’ll handle the rest!
What should I wear?
Whatever you’re comfortable in. I’ll leave the room while you undress to your comfort level and get comfortably situated on the table under the sheets. Your privacy and comfort are always respected.
Can you work around kids or pets at home?
Absolutely! It’s your home, so I completely understand that life happens. Just let me know ahead of time if you’ll have kids or pets around so I can plan accordingly.
What if I have a specific injury or issue?
Please let me know about any specific concerns or areas you’d like addressed on your intake form. I’ll tailor your treatment to your individual needs and goals.
What if I fall asleep during the massage?
Totally normal — and actually a great sign that you’re relaxed! There’s no need to apologize. It happens often, and I’ll gently wake you when your session comes to an end.
Can I talk during the massage?
Absolutely! It’s completely up to you. Some clients love to chat, while others prefer quiet time to fully relax. I’ll always follow your lead.
Can I book you for multiple people in the same home?
Yes! I can accommodate back-to-back sessions for multiple people in the same home. Just let me know in advance so I can plan the timing and setup accordingly.
What if the time I need isn’t available on your booking schedule?
My online booking schedule reflects my regular availability, but I may be able to accommodate appointments outside of these times depending on my schedule. If you don’t see a time that works for you, please reach out and I’ll do my best to find an option that works.
Will I be sore after my massage?
Sometimes — especially if we’ve worked more deeply into tight or sensitive areas. Mild tenderness can be normal after a massage. Staying hydrated and giving your body some time to rest afterward can help.
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier, the better — especially if you’re hoping for a weekend appointment, as those tend to fill up quickly. My schedule can also book up faster toward the end of the year, so I recommend planning ahead if you’re hoping to book around the holidays.
